A Fresh Start

It has been almost one month into the new year and I feel as though I have accomplished three months of work. From taking down Christmas decorations, getting the kids back on track for school, celebrating three birthdays within 3 weeks and starting my own new years resolutions it has been a joyful and exciting time.
As I reflect on the past year, I realize how great God has been to me and I'm so thankful for His guidance, direction, mercy and unfailing love.
The last two years have been a time of making new relationships, growing as a family and sharing our lives with many new people. It has been a time to listen and serve. I'll admit, that I tried to put my foot in where it did not belong, and God allowed me to learn that I need to have patience and allow His direction to guide me, not my own desire to get something done.
I have been looking for Gods direction with Women's Ministries for First Assembly, and I realize that the time has arrived to start a new chapter in this journey. I can't say enough about how excited I am to be involved. I look forward to the new relationships to come and growing in my relationship with Him. Building one another up and encouraging each other must be a priority for Christs love to be demonstrated through us. This year has many great things to come.
